What happens when a new employee comes on board or when an employee resigns?

When a new employee comes on board you can simply give us a call or submit a ticket providing us with some details about the new employee and their role with the company. At that point, we can create them an account, assign them the appreciate license, and assign them to any applicable groups.

As an employee is off-boarded you can simply give us a call or submit a ticket. At that point, we can disable the account for that employee, reassign their license and/or set an email forwarder and auto-reply message if necessary.

What if we already use Google Workspace or Microsoft 365?

If you already use either of the two services, awesome! However, we can perform an audit to make sure you are getting the most out of your service and relieve the stress of having to maintain licensing and renewals.

What is a license?

A user needs a license to use a cloud-based service (such as business email). For example, a user must have a license for Google Workspace before they can use Gmail or a user must have a license for Microsoft 365 before they can use Outlook. A user can have a license for more than one service. However, multiple users can’t share a single license.

Microsoft and Google have different types of licenses. How would we know which works best for us?

What is an MX Record?

Mail Exchange (MX) records are DNS records that are necessary for delivering emails to your address. In simple DNS terms, an MX record is used to tell the world which mail servers accept incoming mail for your domain and where emails sent to your domain should be routed to. No worries, we will carefully handle all of this for you!

How will I access my email?

You will have the ability to access your email from any web browser, smartphone or desktop mail client such as Microsoft Outlook, Apple Mail and Mozilla Thunderbird. Outlook users will also have the ability to sync emails, events and contacts.
